I am interested in being able to open my photos on Fedora 43 KDE Plasma, but have not been able to find a solution. My photos are HEIC images. I’ve tried various techniques I have seen in the forum for older versions of Fedora but cannot find a solution. I’d like to be able to open my photos in the GUI normally when I double click on them.
What I had to do on gnome.
The package I installed required the rpmfusion-free repository.
sudo dnf install libheif-freeworld
