Frequently sound get garbled. What is in Fedora44/2026 the solution to this?

“Frequently” is not always, so I take it that sometimes the sound is working correctly? If so, my guess would be that it is a problem with resource allocation. Does it only happen when you are running something that is using a lot of CPU cycles?

Or maybe it is a codec issue? Does the problem only occur with certain files or file types?
