To encourage more people get started with packaging in the Fedora ecosystem, we have finally made docs for a gigantic list of macros you would find in 99% of spec files (at least for Terra).
We have received many feedbacks about the difficulty in finding macro documentations for Fedora, making package maintenance an unnecessarily difficult task for people without experience with spec files. At the same time, I have been having trouble understanding macros while creating rpmspec-rs, which finally led to this monstrosity.
@jaidenriordan has suggested upstreaming this docs to Fedora, if that’s possible I’d like to know the process (because funnily enough… where are the docs?)
Also, feedbacks welcomed!
