Firefox crashes and other observations with F36 beta

In response to Fedora Linux 36 Beta released

Hi Ben

Got a problem with the Fedora36, Everything.iso (March 29 and earlier).

I selected workstation, and clicked to include items such that a developer wants.

On reboot, Firefox aborts, and asks to send the dumps to mozilla.

I choose the iso from a few other days before, and the same thing.
I am on real hardware (AMD 2700x 16gigs and SSDs).

The workstation live install is fine. I did add to it via dnf group install …

Aside from Firefox, all appeared to be fine.

Problems with getting notifications even though a tag is Watched?

Everything ISO with KDE wayland,

I added the Fedora media player to the panel, and then tried to edit the panel, and had to reboot. The keyboard was recognized by the bios, but not by wayland.

I found it too long an exercise to use bugzilla. I just want to identify and detail what I did, and then let some admin person decide what component is defective.

Leslie, on the Firefox issue, does this persist if you upgrade Firefox via DNF or the Software center?

Hi Matthew, The Firefox issue is only with the Everything.iso.

Your response entered my spam folder, that is why I am replying today.

In the AM, I will DL the latest Everything ISO using Adam’s list of “tested OK”

and reinstall. I always install directly to SSD or spinners.
