I’m using Fedora Rawhide KDE (f45). Something strange is happening: Firefox (installed from the default Fedora repositories) no longer displays the built-in translator. I configured RPMfusion and I installed all the recommended multimedia codecs.
Then I tried downloading Firefox from the Mozilla website (in tar.bz2 format), I have unzipped the file into a folder (/home/myname/Firefox), and now Firefox has the fully functional built-in translator. How do you explain this strange behavior?
Fixed!
It was my mistake. I had inadvertently disabled the AI. Without it, the built-in translator wouldn’t work. Every now and then, I make avoidable mistakes.
