Fedora User Login Screen - Do not clear password if entered wrong

I have a several words passphrase to login to my user account on Fedora login screen. Usually I end up typing a letter wrong.

Is it possible to not clear the password when I did a mistake, I would like to manually inspect the password and correct mistakes (which is usually just one or two letters).

A cursory look through /etc/gdm3 doesn’t show any options to alter the behavior of the password field. You might want to check the GNOME Discourse to see if anyone has found a way to make a similar change: GNOME Discourse: gdm
