Fedora support for Intel UHD graphics

Hi all! I recently upgraded my CPU to i7-11700, but Fedora doesn’t seem to have a suitable graphics driver installed, and instead uses llvmpipe (LLVM 12.0.0, 256 bits). lspci shows the following: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation RocketLake-S GT1 [UHD Graphics 750] (rev 04). I tried looking for solutions on Intel Open Source Graphics for Linux but the page seem to be discontinued.
Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

Hi Daniel Lee! What version of Fedora are you using? And which kernel? (you find that in the output of uname -a)

If you install updates, you will always get the latest graphics driver for intel as they are part of the open-source linux kernel. In other words: If there is a linux driver, you should get it automatically very soon if you keep your Fedora updated.

Hi Daniel, Christian,

Did you solve it somehow? I have the same issue but with i5-11400 (UHD 730) running 5.12.13-300.fc34.x86_64 x86_64

No, problem is still there after I have installed all updates every time being notified. So I just mainly use Ubuntu 21.04 which supports UHD750.

Look at that:

Besides, kernel 5.13 is near, I haven’t checked its changelog, but at least that preliminary support should be improved.
