USB Turtle Beach Stealth 600 G2 (wireless dongle) suspends after ~5-10 seconds of silence.
No sound until I manually switch output device (sink). But after switching, sound returns for only ~5 seconds, then suspends again – need to switch again.
Playing audio for ~10+ seconds keeps it active until reboot, but issue returns after reboot.
Tried:
session.suspend-timeout-seconds = 0 for exact node.name in ~/.config/wireplumber/wireplumber.conf.d/
restarted wireplumber & pipewire
full user config reset + package reinstall
No permanent fix. Config seems ignored or overridden.
I think the problem is from autosuspend, because after wrestling with AI for 1 hour, it finally said ‘Now I’m almost sure the issue is from it suspending.’ But it couldn’t fix it. And yes, it behaves the same on all ports. I 100% believe this is a software issue.
I’ve never touched any power profile settings or anything similar before, and I didn’t even have powertop installed until now.
Also, honestly, if I play a YouTube video and let it run for 20 minutes, the sound doesn’t cut out at all. But as soon as I stop/pause the video, after about 5 seconds the sound cuts out / the device disappears, and I have to switch between audio devices (in the sound settings) to make it come back

That is just the first page of the journal output.
You might find it easier to run journalctl -f in a terminal window, which will show you the last few lines of journal log constantly. it “follows” the end of the log.
Play some music through the device - you should see stuff happen in the log. Stop the music, let the issue occur, and you should see some more stuff appear - Cut and Paste that screenful or so of data - it should be quite obvious where to start copying from and go to the end. I’m interested in seeing what happens your issue takes place and the dongle suspends or vanishes.
In addition, you’re running a kernel which is quite old - you might find that things are fixed in the 6.18.
On top of that, your BIOS is from 2021, so a BIOS update, assuming something newer is available, would also be recommended given the symptoms you’re experiencing… edit - seems that’s the newest available BIOS that ASUS bother to make.
I waited several minutes, but honestly, this was pretty much the maximum that showed up. And basically, after playing music or stopping it, not much gets logged at all.
