Fedora Setup Issues

Hello all,
Recently I’ve tried to make the full switch over from windows to linux, however the time zone setup of fedora is being a bit of a headache.

For any option I select, whether it be what i actually want the time zone to be (London), it breaks. Pixels dissapear from the bottom of the time zone world map and the entire desktop stops responding, with my only option being to unplug my psu cable and boot up again.

I have tried to just force quit the setup process, however it brings me to a screen of orange/blue pixels and renders my pc again, unuseable.
I am trying to install Fedora workstation 43 for the first time, I’ve never had this issue with KDE which is what I will try and install instead now, but it is a shame as I wanted to try out GNOME.
Does anyone know why this could be happening? (Will attach photos and videos, however most screenshots are on the now unuseable fedora desktop. If it matters, i am running an i5-14400F and an RTX 4060 Ti however nvidia drivers are definietly not the problem here i dont think as the installation is flawless until i touch the timezones.)

The black image with orange distorted pixels are what is presented to me when I try to get around the installation menu, eg force quitting it.
Second image is what occurs when I select any sort of timezone for my pc.

Thanks
Oliwier

It’s something about searching a time zone with a NVIDIA GPU; you have to click a spot on the map during initial set-up (can’t type a name)

Thank you very much, This solved it!
Not sure why I didn’t think of just clicking the map haha

Try doing the installation using the troubleshooting selection from the very first screen when booting from the usb installer.

I am guessing that the ‘basic graphics’ mode this leads to will solve the issue for you. If you are then able to successfully complete the first boot setup it should remain in that mode to allow the user to install needed nvidia drivers. (enable the 3rd party repos during the setup!)

I managed to fix it with Espionage724’s comment of just clicking the map for my selected timezone, Thank you anyway, set up my pc and enabled 3rd party repos regardless, I appreciate your help nonetheless.
