Fedora only detecting half of HID input after update

Hello!

Sometime last month, the lower half of my Huion KD100 simply stopped working after an update. This happened when I was still using Fedora 42. I upgraded to Fedora 43 last week thinking it would resolve the issue, but it unfortunately didn’t.

When I run

sudo libinput debug-events

And press buttons on the lower half of the device, nothing is detected.

I’ve noticed that only input from buttons 0-9 (the top ten) get detected.

For now, I’ve redone my keybindings and taped off the lower half of the HID so I can keep working with what I have.

I’ve also noticed that Bluetooth has stopped working, but that might be a separate issue entirely.

What else can I do to troubleshoot this? If this is a bug, where do I report it?

It’s possibly an issue with the newer linux kernels.
Do you still have the old kernel that this last work with to try?

It looks like I only have kernels that were released after upgrading to Fedora 43 installed, so rolling back to any of these won’t make a difference.

Should I report this as a bug?

Yes, but you will be asked which kernel version it last work on.
