Fedora Online Account: frequently logged out and what's the purpose of the account?

Hi,
Since I use Fedora Bluefin I have a Fedora account in my online accounts. I don’t know why anymore. I think it helps Fedora knowing how many people use it, or something like that?
I very often have to retype my password, even when I select to remember it. Anyone knows the reason? Is it an error or on purpose?

While Bluefin is ultimately based on Fedora Silverblue, it isn’t a product of the Fedora project.

You might want to ask this question on a Bluefin-specific forum.

Yes, I asked first on de Bluefin-forum and they said: this is not ours, just remove the account if you don’t use it. So I guess I’ll do that. Thank you!

:link: GUI (gnome/workstation)

  • Open settings → Online Accounts → Click on the + to add an account → Click on “Other” at the end of the list → Click on “Enterprise login (kerberos)”
  • Enter your FAS name @FEDORAPROJECT.ORG for the principal, e.g. fas@FEDORAPROJECT.ORG.
  • Enter your password when prompted.
