I recently installed the most minimal version of Fedora using the Fedora Everything .iso, and ended up setting up niri with dms. I then installed the Brave Origin browser and the Bitwarden extension from the Chrome Store, as it’s a tool I use every day.
The problem is that the extension’s “show autofill suggestions on form fields” feature appears to be disabled or malfunctioning. I can still use the shortcut to cycle through my saved logins, but I’d rather just navigate the dropdown to find the account that I need on each website.
I have set up a very rudimentary and basic system, and since I’m still new to all of this, my theory is that I’m missing some package or dependency to enable that functionality, or modify some configuration to allow the dropdown to show up. I couldn’t find any leads online so hopefully someone here can offer some guidance.
For reference, I also set up an Arch system at around the same time and I went with niri and Noctalia shell. Everything is working as expected there without me having to reconfigure anything or add something extra, at least to my knowledge, which is why I was surprised that this just doesn’t work on Fedora for some reason.
Any leads or assistance would be greatly appreciated. I’m running Fedora 44.
