I am encountering an error while trying to boot and install using the Fedora MATE 44 (1.7) ISO/IMG image, and the system fails to start properly.
System & Setup Details:
OS Image: Fedora MATE 44 (1.7)
Installation Media: SD Card / USB flash drive
After writing the image to the media, I get an error during the boot phase / installer setup. Is there a known ISO image/checksum issue with this release, or are there specific boot parameters/steps required to resolve this?
During the installation process, I fill in all the required setup information, select the disk, and check the box confirming that the entire disk will be erased. When I click the “Install” button, the progress reaches 19% and then fails with a “Installation Error” message.
I think that’s where the logs were stored in the past, but I also have a suspician that when I installed KDE on my wifes machine a few months ago (F43) there was a “show me the log” button.
It seems like an ISO image issue. Looking at similar topics on the forum, other users are also experiencing boot/installer failures with Fedora 44 build. I will wait for an updated image or try a stable release. Thanks for your help!
