Having trouble converting this type file of Kinoite. Transferred all my pictures from Iphone to my laptop using KDE connect, but I’m receiving them in .heic format.
Can anybody help on the process?
I am using Silverblue, and in order to view photos in .heic format, I have removed the Image Viewer Flatpak app (org.gnome.Loupe) which comes preinstalled (from the fedora remote) and reinstalled it from the flathub remote, which uses runtimes with the needed codecs.
I expect this should work the same with KDE’s image viewers.
The same should be done with the Video Player app in order to view .mov videos.
