Has anybody the nvidia driver 340.108 tested with the kernel series 6 from rpm-fusion repositories (akamod meta-package etc.)? Does it work? Is it right that, with the installation of nvidia driver 340.108, the wayland session is no more possible?
As far as I know, wayland is not usable with any nvidia driver older than the 495 version.
I am unsure about using the 340 driver with the 6.0 kernel, but seem to recall that there was a version in the rpmfusion-nonfree-updates-testing repo that some said worked with the older nvidia cards and the 6.0 kernels. It could be gotten by adding --enablerepo=rpmfusion-nonfree-updates-testing to your dnf upgrade command.
