Hello all!
We are currently preparing a big release that will coincide with upstream’s releases of Frameworks 6.21 and Gear 25.12.
KDE Frameworks 6.21 is slated for release on Friday, December 12th 2025 while Gear 25.12 releases on Thursday, December 11th 2025. Plasma 6.5.4 on the other hand is already live and will also be included in this release.
Instead of making 3 releases scattered, causing some issues with “What lands first”, we will be creating a “giga release” on friday across all currently supported branches (Fedora 43 and Fedora 42).
I will be posting the link here for those willing to test the release and give karma, which would substantially speed up the release, or let us know if there are bugs.
