Fedora is booting very slow and with low resolution

Hey, everytime I boot up my PC (Fedora 42 but Problem started in 41) it takes a lot longer than it should and the bootscreen has a very low resolution. If I select my drive via boot menu or bios though everything behaves like it should.

I’ve already looked for similar cases and I found many posts about slow booting times and low resolution but I couldn’t find anyone who also described that their pc was behaving normal when booting via bios.

I should note that I have an nvidia graphics card, so that could be causing the problem.

What can I do to resolve this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Without knowing the exact nvidia card you have it is hard to be certain, but there have been others who had problems with boot time and graphics resolution who were able to solve the issue by installing the nvidia drivers from rpmfusion.
