Fedora Indestructible BTRFS guide

Hello everyone, I’ve designed a Fedora installation guide that allows for safe rollbacks on both desktop and server editions.

This isn’t like other guides; the Btrfs layout is simplified to include only what’s essential to ensure overall system consistency.

It includes some DNF5 plugins for working with Snapper that I’ve compiled from other community members and improved upon; I’ve also designed some of my own to facilitate rollbacks from the CLI. The system can also be restored using btrfs-assistant without affecting other features, and it’s capable of booting snapshots with GRUB and restoring any snapshot you choose from there.

It’s the closest thing you’ll get to an Atomic spin, but without its drawbacks.

Here’s the GitHub repo; you can follow the guide on a VM if you’d like. Contributions are welcome.

Nice one.

You might consider writing an article for Fedora Magazine or putting the guide in Fedora Docs.

Sounds good. Will try this layout next time I reinstall Fedora! :+1:
