There is one, however beside being on the right place it is empty. So, that is why I would like kindly ask @fatherlinux, to do further steps, to structure the “docs” git repository on the forge. This way we can use it as an “interface” between the work RH is doing and Fedora. We do not have to create duplicated content, however linking and mentioning the source would help a lot to find it faster. Also making a branch for drafting/staging would simplify, to just move some notes, while structuring them before releasing on the official docs.
So we could also doing it once the other way around, while creating the structure of the information flow, before we start to loos the overview.
This way I also would like to ask the Project leader of Hummingbird, to create an additional Git repository on which we can create tickets. While we probably still will use additional pieces of infra structure, we try to link on the forge where they are, and if needed link to the information, how to be able to relate issues/contribute there (Bugzilla as an example).
This would not just help us on ask.fp.o, to focus more on motivating users. It would help more and give a reason to invite & join for such projects, while they have one place to search for information closer to the project. This way they not get linked to older information in first place. If they know from beginning on what information has to be renewed, they are probably also more motivated, to go deeper into a specific topic, to also help documenting it.
An other last positive effect I would see is, that we also can motivate the owners of content on Pagure[1] to finally move to the forge.
It is really not meant to be a task list for hard working professionals.
It is more a wish list how we could improve the way, as we where used to do it till today (Ugh, it rhymes too!).
pagure.io is expected to be decommissioned at or around Flock 2026, June 14-16, 2026. Fedora Project contributors are encouraged to migrate Fedora Project related work to forge.fedoraproject.org. Discussion and feedback. ↩︎
