Hi, Why does fedora install all graphics drivers such as “nouveau”, “amdgpu”, and “radeon” by defaults while my graphic card can only supports “radeon” driver?
There is no Nvidia card here; so what’s the deal with “nouveau”? It’s really a mess.

Under Linux, graphics drivers are part of the Kernel. So as long as the kernel is providing the driver, your system will report they are installed.

This makes possible to boot the system on almost any hardware if you change some components.
It’s normal for most Linux distros including Fedora to preinstall common open source drivers.
