Fedora doesn't boot on Sony VAIO SVS1311H3EW

I’ve made a Clean Install of Fedora 41 Workstation in this laptop, all done, but when reboot it said: “There’s no OS”.
I’ve made all the steps correctly & I’ve used a bootable USB 3.O in USB 3.0 port, made by Fedora Media Writer. This VAIO has UEFI BIOS & SSD (GPT).
I did UBUNTU installation flawlessly, I don’t know what’s the problem with Fedora.
Any help please? Thank’s in advance!!!

It’s probably a firmware bug that is preventing Fedora Linux from registering its boot loader with the BIOS. Can you manually add the shim.efi file on your ESP to your laptop’s boot order?

Maybe, I will try it & I’ll tell you.
Why Ubuntu is working perfectly?

It’s a good question. I don’t know the answer.

I can’t add anything on my laptop’s boot order.

I wonder if your BIOS is locked somehow and coded to only look for Ubuntu’s boot loader? You definitely should be able to edit your boot entries. You usually press a key like F2 or Esc when your computer starts booting to get into your BIOS settings, but it varies somewhat depending on your PC manufacturer. Sometimes F11 or F12 will also bring up a menu with an option to edit the BIOS/firmware settings.

I see. You could try to work around the problem by changing the boot mode to legacy. Using sd-boot might be another option, but that would be a little more difficult to configure.
