I’m a new user and new to linex , discover is very slow .
I did a sudo dnf update --refresh and it didn’t help
and advice for a Noob ?

Is it all slow or just the Flatpaks? RPMs too? Because yeah, Flatpaks are awfully slow 
If i take Flatpaks out , it tells me i will have to uninstall (Brave) and a few other apps
No, don’t uninstall Flatpak, it’s useful as many apps are only available as Flatpak and some work better as Flatpak (VLC for instance). It’s just has been slow for months for me. It takes several minutes to install a small utility. So, if I have the option to install a native (RPM) version of an app, I’d chose that first over Flatpak.
Now, if the apps themselves are slow or crash, it might be Flatpak permissions issue as many Flatpak apps get installed with default permissions that are too restrictive. Run the Flatpak Permissions utility and see if you can change the permissions to make the app behave better.
