Do you normally use an SD card? If so,does the card work in another system? What do you mean by “crashing”? Does the system reboot, become unusable, etc?

I am not using an SD card, curious where you are getting that question from.
System becomes unusable and the screen is frozen. I have to shut down my computer by holding the power button.

PCIE is used with SD cards; failed SD cards have caused crashes. Do you know what the “not present card” is?

The crash may be a bug in some pop up notification killing the GUI. Can you get into the system with ssh?

PCIE can be anything:

" PCIe (peripheral component interconnect express) is an interface standard for connecting high-speed components. Every desktop PC motherboard has a number of PCIe slots you can use to add GPUs (aka video cards aka graphics cards), RAID cards, Wi-Fi cards or SSD (solid-state drive) add-on cards."

I believe this is my USB-C port.
However, I think this issue is coming down to my GPU driver.

PCIe is a core part of linux and is well tested so problems are rare. It is important to rule out removable devices. You mention USB-C. Are you using a USB-C device?

Your post suggests that the problem has occurred more than once. Do you see the same errors with journalctl for different boots?

Have you checked for vendor “BIOS” updates?

Yes, I am using a docking station.
Firmware for it and my laptop’s BIOS is up to date.
I think my GPU driver is causing the issues, I am going to work on diagnosing that.

You should mention the make and model of your docking station. Some are known troublemakers. Also check with the vendor for updates and problem reports.
