Fedora-Council/tickets ticket #482: Devising a community schedule to complement the release schedule

+1.

I think that a schedule of this sort is of value to those contributors who are not tied close to the process of building the Fedora Linux offerings but rather help in “complementing” those efforts. Another such activity that comes to my mind is “updating our websites in a timely fashion to reflect the availability of the releases” and even that can be included in the said schedule.

This not only enhances how we do things in Fedora Project but in a way, takes a step towards solving the “What Now?” problem that people usually face after making their first contribution. Adding visibility to these complementary activities and tying them to a certain timeline has a likelihood of making them appear desirable to be participated by the community members.

I hope this makes sense.
