Key Discussion Points

  • The team confirmed that the numad and numactl packages will be added to the Fedora CoreOS base image, as agreed upon in the previous meeting.
  • The Fedora CoreOS 44 Beta was successfully shipped to the next stream on March 10, 2026.
  • The Fedora 44 Test Week will begin on Monday, March 23, 2026. A live sync and test session will be held on either Monday or Tuesday of that week (Time TBD).
  • The planned change to "Build FCOS on Fedora Konflux" will be deferred to Fedora 45, as the required infrastructure is not yet ready.
  • Hristo Marinov developed a script to improve the formatting of meeting logs for Fedora Discussion and will open a PR to the fcos-meeting-action repository.

Action items

  1. Hristo Marinov (hricky) will create a Fedora QA ticket and check if new tests are necessary to be written.
  2. Yasmin de Souza (ydesouza) and Hristo Marinov (hricky) will be hosting FCOS 44 Test week. Everyone is welcome to help and participate! :)
  3. Michael Armijo (marmijo) to investigate the current status of the open changes we're tracking to ensure we're ready to support them in F44.
