Event Registrations & CFPs

The team acknowledged that work on the Forgejo migration is increasingly coming into focus. In 2026, CommOps will look to recruit help for migrating the issue tracker from GitLab to Forgejo.

@moralcode shared an invitation for contributors to join the Augur project (part of CHAOSS software used for metrics).

Release Party Recap

The team celebrated the success of the recent Fedora Linux 43 Release Party, noting steady growth in engagement. Thanks were given to everyone who helped make it happen.

Hi folks, we are slowly getting back to things in 2026! :rocket:

However, I am still finishing my year-end recharge… we do need a meeting chair for Tuesday, 6 January still. If we cannot find someone willing to chair the next meeting, perhaps we should cancel and pick back up in another two weeks.
