Fedora changes HDMI output during boot for orange pi 5 plus

I have an orange pi 5 plus that has fedora 44 installed on the NVMe. during boot, I can see the EDK2 UEFI screen, then linux starts to load. Once the GPU driver loads, whatever HDMI port the monitor is plugged into stops working and I have to switch to the other HDMI port. Anyone have any idea why this happens?

Use display port if you can.

HDMI and aarch64 is still an issue because of the license it comes with. Full opensource implementation on AMD was not possible till today. More information:

there are no displayport connectors on the orange pi 5 plus SBC.

I can get an image, it works fine, but it just jumps to a different port during boot.
