M1 iMac with wiped HD and newly installed OS 26.3 and .4, fails on two attempts to complete installation of Fedora Asahi Remix 43 when it comes to the third and last call for the Mac OS login PW but doesn’t accept it. (Two Apple “senior” advisors say there is no other PW for Mac but the login, assuming the individual is the person who originally set up the machine, which I am.) Help much appreciated.
