We’ve been seeing fewer participants in the AI-ML SIG meetings as of late and I’m wondering if we need to revisit the schedule of every other Thursday @ 12:30 EST/EDT.
Is it the meeting time that keeps folks from participating? It’s pretty much impossible to get a single time that works globally but we can certainly start a re-scheduling conversation if the time/day is a problem for enough people.
I would be more likely to attend if the AI-ML SIG meeting was at a different time
The scheduling of the AI-ML SIG meeting does not affect whether or not I attend
I’m not really interested in the AI-ML SIG meeting but I like clicking on polls
So, I’d like to participate more, and the current meeting time is sometimes an issue for me. I could probably make the current meeting work if I moved things around. But I also don’t know if I have much to contribute to the SIG yet, as I am in a “listen-and-learn” mode right now.
There weren’t enough responses on this to consider changing the meeting time much.
It still may happen, I know that there has been at least one request to move the meeting 30 minutes earlier to start on the hour but there don’t seem to be a lot of strong opinions on the matter.
If any changes are made, they’ll be announced here and in matrix ahead of time.
