Fedora 45 libreoffice Impress video offset when KDE display is scaled

I’m not super advanced with Linux.

I’m running Fedora 45 on a Dell 9640 laptop with NVidia drivers and KDE desktop.

The native screen is 3840 x 2400 pixels. Using the DIsplay menu page (right click on desktop) , I used the scaling function to enlarge text and icons up to a reasonable size.

I noticed an issue with libreoffice Impress in this configuration. I was hoping someone might help me understand if I’m doing something wrong or if this should be reported as a bug.

Here is the Display configuration menu page set to scale 185%:

Putting Impress into Slide Show mode results in the video being offset and only partially visible:

If I decrease the Display scale to 100%, the incorrect video offset goes away:

I don’t want to waste developer time. Is this a bug?

That looks like a bug to me. I’m not sure if its a libreoffice or kde issue.

I suggest you start by asking the KDE folks over at https://discuss.kde.org/ to see what they think.

Could you please try reproducing with a scale factor of 200%? It’s maybe an issue with fractional scaling.

Same behavior at 200%. I’ll ask about this at discuss.kde.org. Thank you!
