Hello! I started updating fedora from 43 to 44 like 30 minutes ago. I updated all other packages before that since I heard that that might cause issues.
Now, after the laptop restarted, the screen is black (no backlight even, caps lock works).
How can I know the progress of the install? Will a hard reboot kill the install?
Hit escape? Any change?
Hit Ctrl-Alt-F3 - any change?
Okay I tried a hard reboot like 30 mins after posting this. On reboot, the system THEN started to upgrade. So this entire time it was just a blank screen, with nothing happening at all.
Thanks for replying though, I’ll definitely try that in case something like this ever happens again!
