Fedora 44: Gnome screen time limit seems buggy

Hi,

I’ve been trying out Fedora 44 Workstation RC 1.7, and one thing I’ve noticed is weird behaviour when your screen has been locked by the new daily screen time feature.

  • When I’m a “child” user (unprivileged), have hit the screen time limit, and someone clicks “Ignore” on the login screen, they can enter their admin password, but like 2 seconds after I start typing my password the screen jumps back to showing the “Ignore” button. Link to screen capture
  • When I’m an administrative user and have hit the screen time limit, I can click ignore and enter my password in the prompt, then nothing happens - I’m still at the same screen. Link to screen capture

Screen caps are in german, I hope you can still make sense of them. I’m running the RC1.7 ISO on Qemu/KVM on a Fedora Workstation 43 system.

Can someone reproduce this? Would this be worth opening a bug? I find the bugtracker to be very confusing, apologies if this has already been reported and I just haven’t found it.

Thanks!
