I’ve been trying out Fedora 44 Workstation RC 1.7, and one thing I’ve noticed is weird behaviour when your screen has been locked by the new daily screen time feature.
- When I’m a “child” user (unprivileged), have hit the screen time limit, and someone clicks “Ignore” on the login screen, they can enter their admin password, but like 2 seconds after I start typing my password the screen jumps back to showing the “Ignore” button. Link to screen capture
- When I’m an administrative user and have hit the screen time limit, I can click ignore and enter my password in the prompt, then nothing happens - I’m still at the same screen. Link to screen capture
Screen caps are in german, I hope you can still make sense of them. I’m running the RC1.7 ISO on Qemu/KVM on a Fedora Workstation 43 system.
Can someone reproduce this? Would this be worth opening a bug? I find the bugtracker to be very confusing, apologies if this has already been reported and I just haven’t found it.
