Fedora 44 dual-boot config consistantly freezes up

Hello all! I have recently installed Fedora 44 KDE on a new computer that came with Win11 pre-installed. I unfortunately need the Windows option. As such, I installed Fedora in a dual boot configuration. Both operating systems and the BIOS are fully up-to-date. Windows runs fine, but Fedora completely freezes up consistently, in times ranging from 30 seconds to about an hour before freezing. When it does freeze, the display stays up but freezes, and the mouse and keyboard become unresponsive. Long-pressing the power button is the only way out.

I have installed the proprietary NVidia drivers, and tried everything I was able to find online but could not get it to work. It does seem that it ran without freezing for a bit after installation. I have left the computer running without any apps running, and the freezing still occurred.

I did install OpenSuse Tumbleweed XFCE on a different drive on the same machine, and the freezing also happened. I use KiCad extensively and get some funky flickering effects with windows occasionally blanking out, always coming back. From what I have read, many users have had better luck with KiCad in Tumbleweed and I thought it might be an alternative if it solves problems. This is my first foray in the Fedora direction; I have been using Debian-based distros on older machines for some time prior.

An observation that may or may not be relevant, if the mouse is kept actively in motion, the does not seem to freeze.

Any help would be appreciated.

I edited one tiny portion (dnf repolist) of your very long and malformed post to add the preformatted text tags so you may see the difference between plain text and preformatted text. The segment I edited now appears exactly as seen on-screen and not all scrunched together.

This is accomplished easily by pasting the text then highlight it and click the </> button on the toolbar of the text entry window when posting.

Please edit your post above and convert all the text pasted to preformatted so we can easily read it exactly as you saw it on screen. Please always use the preformatted text tags for posting text that you copy and paste.
