Fedora 44 beta KDE x86_64 does not start from live USB

Fedora 44 beta KDE x86_64 does not start from live USB (it freezes at the system loading animation stage). Basic graphics mode does not work either.

I tried two different USB drives, as well as several applications for creating live USBs (balenaEtcher, Fedora Media Writer, Ventoy). The result is always the same.

Could you please provide instructions on how to extract information about what exactly the problem is?

The Live ISO on the website is dated March 10, and its checksum after download does not match the one declared on the site (i tried on another hardware also) — the correct one is the version downloaded via .torrent. Unfortunately, that one does not work either.

Hardware:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
RAM: 64 GiB
GPU 1: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080
GPU 2: AMD integrated graphics (Ryzen 7 9800X3D)
Motherboard: Gigabyte X870 EAGLE WIFI7

Additional info:
Fedora 43 and other distros boot perfectly from the ISO image

Doesn’t it have a compatibility or ‘safe’ mode option? Like with nomodeset?

Forgot to say - safe mode is not changing anything.

We had a similar problem yesterday with KDE F43.

Unless you explicitly need to test the KDE desktop,

Can you install Fedora with the ‘Everything Netinstaller’ and select KDE to download?

It may be best to just wait a couple of weeks until the final version of f44 is released and install that instead of faffing around with the pre-release version you now have (and will continue to get until the final release).

You might try this it is the latest builds.

Making sure you're not a bot!

The latest nightly build starts correctly, so I’m hoping the final release will be fine
Thanks!
