Just wanting to add that a 2017 Macbook Pro is facing a similar issue on Fedora 43. Restart and Shutdown work fine, but when I suspend the laptop or let it go to sleep, it’s basically dead in the water until a forced power cycle. Sometimes I can get back to the lock screen, but in a frozen state that will not allow me to enter anything into the password bar to unlock.
