When booted into Fedora 43/Rawhide on KDE, FPS on the orange pi 5 plus with HDMI is limited to 30hz.

Here’s an article from the end of last year about Rockchip RK3588 upstream support. See the first paragraph of the “What’s ahead” section. It seems that it’s still a work in progress.

Which is in line with their RK3588 upstream status matrix. If you scroll down to the display controller section you can see HDMI 4K60 and 8K is WIP/TODO.
