Fedora 43 multilib coprs?

F43 chroots were recently added to copr, but i386 is missing from them. Is this expected? Coming later?

Fedora in a 64 bit OS with some 32 bit RPMs for supporting important apps that need both 64bit and 32bit user space.

Fedora is trying to drop all 32 bit RPMs, but there are important packages depending on 32 bit support that is delaying this, for example Steam client.

Why do you think you need i386 for Fedora?

To build 32-bit Vulkan layers to load into 32-bit wine processes

hmm..

This looks like an oversight.
the fedora-rawhide-i386 chroot still exists.

And there hasn’t been a change to the documentation for multilib instructions

This is probably something that needs to be brought up in the build system matrix channel to get the right person’s attention.

I can’t see anything wrong with the f43 32bit buildroot…

fedora-43-i386 works here to build with.

Since we don’t distribute 32bit anymore by itself, mock uses our koji buildroot that we use to build 32bit things.

Looks like f43 i386 is now back on the copr chroot list
