Good evening everyone, and thank you for welcoming me.
I downloaded the Fedora Workstation 43 Live ISO and used the Fedora Media Writer utility to install it, as I’ve always done since Fedora 37. Once I started the live installation, “Authentication Required” appeared, and whatever I chose, the installation stopped, and even starting it from the dock didn’t boot. Has anyone had the same problem? For now, I’ve reinstalled version 42 and updated to version 43. Thanks to anyone who can help me.
I have not seen that before.
The only thing reinstalling F43 will give you is a larger /boot which you won’t need unless you have Nvidia graphics card.
Upgrading is perfectly fine.
