Do you know if the system freezes or is still working? Can you ping the device for example?

Anything in your journal log?

I sometimes have this problem which seems to be caused by the NVIDIA GPU, how did you install the driver, and did you enable all nvidia services?

I can no long ssh to it the dmesg is not updated

I don’t know if I have enabled all nvidia services. Which should I enable for rtx 4000? I installed the graphics adapter in the recommended way.

I have followed the Arch Wiki instructions and adjusted them to Fedora:

If you installed the nvidia driver from rpmfusion then all the necessary nvidia services should already be enabled and no changes are normally required.

There are several threads here about problems with nvidia and wake up from suspend. You may wish to search for the related topics and read up to see if any match your exact problem and mention a solution.

One solution that has been mentioned is to power off the monitor then power it back on (obviously not possible if it is a laptop screen).

If the system is frozen then you could not even see the current dmesg listing and a restart creates a totally new listing. Journalctl, however, should show entries right up to the ‘freeze’ and maybe even after it appears frozen.
