Typically this issue will occur once every 6 software shutdowns. I know this because even when the loading screen for shutdown ceases my laptop’s keybaord stays lit and the fans go on maximum speed. I have never experienced this before on debian based distros. Not just that but to put salt in the wound this happened after I had to reinstall fedora due to the prior one not allowing me to update or change flatpak repositories. Ive been told this may be an ACPI related issue but I am not quite sure? Does anyone have experience with this issue? Also on occasion my keyboard will invert without ever clicking Numer Lock so um yeah.
