I tried using this on fresh install of Fedora 43: sudo semanage login -m -s staff_u ‘username’.
And after reboot all icons were gone, including the icons on the ‘systray’ on top right corner.
Did you try relabeling all user files?
No I did not try relabeling. ChatGPT didn’t say I need to relabel.
As a comparison Fedora 42 works fine after I did semanage.
