Fedora 42 Workstation Beta - Issues on login screen

Hello,

First of all, thanks to all the people working on the project! You surely did an amazing job with this new update.
Of course it still is a beta, it has some issues and lacks of GNOME extensions support. But it’s still good!

I’m having some issues on the login screen (gdm) :

  1. The Fedora logo looks very big, and the pixels too. Is it a bug?

  2. I can’t see my DEs using X11 or Xorg. How to show them again?

The Fedora logo being large is a known issue - 2346088 – Fedora logo is huge on system with 125% scaling . For X.org desktops, IMBW, but I believe it’s intended that GDM doesn’t support X any more. You have to use a different DM for X desktops. See Commit - rpms/gdm - fb193607e1c498c16f62ae1ede1c7ccb6a6aafdf - src.fedoraproject.org .
