Fedora 42 does not output hdmi signal when screen turned off then on

Hi

I recently upgraded from 41 to 42 still on xfce on X still, however now when I turn my monitor (actually a LG C1 tv) off and then on again it receives no signal and I have to manually unplug and replug the HDMI cable into the back of my 3080TI to get the signal to output to it again, did not have this issue in 41, I am currently using the akmods nvidia drivers if that makes any difference, not sure where the problem lies but something that changed from 41 to 42 has caused it, fully updated as of 13th of june.

any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

The same problem is on LXQT and Cinnamon.
Gnome and KDE Plasma work fine and I don’t know why sry.

It is best to install the system without an additional miniutor, connect only after installing GPU ters and updating Fedora
