Fedora 42 crashing constantly

Hi everyone,

I’ve searched through many of the already created topics however, I think I’ve landed in the dead-end and cannot find a way to progress whilst debugging the issue:

I thought my crashed were related to a specific Boosteroid Client, which I am using for gaming. A lot of times when I’ve closed the client from Full Screen to Windowed, the system just froze completely. However, yesterday, as I’ve installed Chrome using RPM File, opened it and started resizing the Chrome window, the system just hung again.

At the time of crash, I cant even switch to a different tty. The only thing that helps is pressing the Power button.

Here are my outputs:

memtest has been done without any issues found, using windows 11 on the same hardware doesn’t have any issues whatsoever.

I have now also blacklisted i2c_nvidia_gpu from kernel, using next commands:

echo "blacklist i2c_nvidia_gpu" | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist_i2c-nvidia-gpu.conf
sudo dracut --force /boot/initramfs-$(uname -r).img $(uname -r)

Unsure if that was the reason causing the issues, but it looks more than a workaround, since fedora pushes quite a few new kernel versions every now and then, so, if this was the issue, I have to do it every time, right?

Any lead to the fix would mean a lot!

Thank you all for your support!
