Fedora 41 Desktop makes me wanna cry (at times)

chromium: No keyboard input possible. firefox debugger: no vertical scroll bar to see all of console/network, etc. document scanner: Asks to save (which is highlighted) but then discards the newly scanned document when you hit ENTER – also replaces by default instead of auto-renaming files (-1, -2, etc.) which breaks the flow of paperless-ngx. Mounting a bcachefs RAID halts the whole machine, which btw tracker-miner is dragging down. And I’ll never understand why buttons have to be as far away from each other as they can possibly be. Oh, and recording hours of a sound with Sound Recorder is a PITA as you have to write down when the recording started. That’s when you start to wanna grab a Mac.

… might I suggest you cover your keyboard with a waterproof barrier prior to having your cry? …

I just love my Fedora with Sway windows manager. So much control, so much access to configuration and I get to see what is under the hood at all times. Fedora fills me with joy, so much that I want to jump on the forums and help others customise their own realities.
My hardware was cheap, I have AUD$250 laptops running very nicely and Fedora has never asked me for my credit card!
I’d like to give a special shout-out to IBM and Red-Hat for sponsoring Fedora, and all the more-talented-than-I programmers for bring me my daily driver and my portal to the universe. GO TEAM FEDORA!
