THIS IS NOT A RELEASE ANNOUNCEMENT! This is about testing a compose that might become the Fedora 40 release. It is intended for folks interested in helping us with Fedora release testing.
According to the schedule, Fedora 40 Candidate RC-1.12 is now available for testing. Please help us complete all the validation testing! For more information on release validation testing, see:
QA:Release validation test plan - Fedora Project Wiki
Test coverage information for the current release can be seen at:
https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/testcase_stats/40
You can see all results, find testing instructions and image download
locations, and enter results on the Summary page:

The individual test result pages are:
- Test Results:Fedora 40 RC 1.12 Installation - Fedora Project Wiki
- Test Results:Fedora 40 RC 1.12 Base - Fedora Project Wiki
- Test Results:Fedora 40 RC 1.12 Server - Fedora Project Wiki
- Test Results:Fedora 40 RC 1.12 Cloud - Fedora Project Wiki
- Test Results:Fedora 40 RC 1.12 Desktop - Fedora Project Wiki
- Test Results:Fedora 40 RC 1.12 Security Lab - Fedora Project Wiki
All RC priority test cases for each of these test pages must pass in order to meet the Final Release Criteria.
Help is available on the Fedora Quality chat channel, the Fedora Quality tag on Discourse, or on the test list.
Note an RC-1.13 will be coming in a few hours, but the changes from 1.12 are minimal: some filenames are fixed, and uboot-tools is updated from an RC to the final release. Most 1.12 testing will still be valid, so please do test 1.12 until 1.13 is available. I will post here when it is.
