Fedora 39 shutdown stuck

Hello,

I have a problem when I try to shut down or restart my Laptop.

Dual boot Win11 and Fedora 39

I have two SSDs, so one SSD is for Windows, and another is for Fedora

Specs of Laptop: Legion 5 Pro 16IAH7H i7/32/2TB 82RF00SYRM

CPU: Intel Core i7 Tetradeca Core Processor 12700H

GPU: NVidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti

SDD: 2TB (2 SSDs with 1TB each) Samsung MZVL21T0HCLR-00BL2

When I want to boot my laptop I have these options

Fedora Linux (6.5. 11-300. fc39. x86_64) 39 (Workstation Edition)

Fedora Linux (6.5.6-300. fc39.x86_64) 39 (Workstation Edition)

Fedora Linux (O-rescue-3702cd8bac554456bcf3d36415ffac10) 39 (Workstation Edition)

Windows Boot Manager (on /dev/nvme0m1p1)

UEFi Firmware Settings

I tried first two options (Fedora Linux (6.5. 11-300. fc39. x86_64) 39 (Workstation Edition), Fedora Linux (6.5.6-300. fc39.x86_64) 39 (Workstation Edition)) and results are the same.

After running journalctl, I get this:

Welcome to Fedora @realvuk

Did you check if there is a new firmware for your device?
LVFS: Device List

Is this problem new or did you have it always since using fedora?

Yes I did, and there is nothing to update

Did you upgrade from F38?
If so you should have the previous kernel to pick from when you boot the system.
Does the problem also happen on the older kernel?

Also you can make the text easier to read by using the </> button like this:

text
example

I just followed this and now everything works

@realvuk you have to mark the whole part you want as preformed text and then hit Ctrl & e or click on the symbol </> in the menu-bar of the edit window (Preformatted text).

It will add back-ticks. One if you want highlighted text or tree before and after a text-block if you want it just displayed with fixed font size.
