Fedora 37 - Gnome Software not starting

Hi,

I’ve recently upgraded to Fedora 37 and Gnome Software isn’t starting. I’m not sure whether it stopped working right after the upgrade or after some time and journalctl -f outputs nothing between running gnome-software it timing out.

Does anybody know about this problem?

Can you temporarily create a new user on your system and see if the problem persists?

You can try to kill the process, then restart it

killall gnome-software

Also, I have a look at

 systemctl status PackageKit.service

After starting gnome-software on the temporary account, it also started working on my main account. Interesting.
I will update this thread if it stops working again.
