Fedora 32 grub2 - Why is it so ugly? how to make it better?

So I was hoping the Fedora community could help me clean up Grub2. I have tried a lot of Distro’s over the years, but eventually moved back to Fedora, especially since the release of 32.

The only thing that really bothers me right now is the aesthetics of Grub2. Why is it so basic?
I edited

and added the lines:-

then grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg

This allowed me to actually see my boot font.
I would like to change the actual font, and remove the grey boot screen with the square dots, as it really just looks ugly. So what is the preferred way to do this?

Kind regards
