This describes the problem that I’m seeing under Workstation 44:
If you do
yum install featherpad
and then run it, and change screen resolutions while doing so, you’ll see the chaos I’m talking about.
I don’t see this with any other app so I thought it was due to Featherpad itself, but the maintainer seems adamant that this is an upstream UI issue. Maybe Featherpad is exercising some particular feature that none of my other apps are exercising.
The only other thing I can add is that, if I launch Featherpad from a terminal, I sometimes get the following error: “The cached device pixel ratio value was stale on window expose. Please file a QTBUG which explains how to reproduce.” Whatever that means.
Is anyone able to reproduce this? It’s makes a complete mess of the UI and sometimes even allows me to click “through” Featherpad to window behind it!
